“Muriel developed her artistic talent at the age of ten. After receiving excellent classical piano training, she won several first-place medals at the Concours Musical de France and the Concours Bellan, eventually achieving the “Diploma of Concert” level.
Her penchant for perfectionism and musical eclecticism led her to explore a variety of enriching musical worlds. She passionately attended the Bill Evans Piano Academy in Paris, under the guidance of Bernard Maury and Samy Abenaïm, while simultaneously pursuing vocal training at the Centre De Danse Du Marais with Albert Assayag, and studying classical singing with Nell Froger and Sonia Nigoghossian.
Muriel quickly put this rigorous academic training to the test by teaching singing and piano lessons and performing on a wide range of stages, each demanding and with high expectations.
She gracefully personifies musical scores with her smooth, yet warm and generous voice. With talent, she masters the art of making any piece of music her own, adding her unique touch to create a new, bold, and charmingly melodious experience. Her solos are magical moments, offering refined and vibrant musical experiences.
Muriel is a key figure in solo, duo, trio, and quartet performances.
Muriel is a true artist in the purest sense, and she loves to feel her audience resonate with her. To that end, she captivates discerning audiences at numerous residencies, including the restaurant at Casino De Paris, Le Music-Hall, World Place, Harry’s New York Bar, Firstfloor Six Seven, Le Toi, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Hôtel Murano, Hôtel Le Collectionneur, Hôtel Westminster, and Hôtel De Vendôme in Paris.
Passionate about music in all its forms, she enjoys connecting with a wide range of audiences. Between Jazz and Soul, Muriel’s personal musical talent and universe are rich, passionate, and eclectic. Her influences are deeply rooted in the legacies of iconic figures in music history, including Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Prince, George Benson, George Michael, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Henri Salvador, and Michel Legrand.
From these great names, she draws the touching strength of her interpretation, the groovy beauty of her vocal cords, her professional rigor, and her unconditional dedication to her artistic passion.“
